May 24, 2022
Cynthia Choi, co-founder of Stop AAPI Hate and co-executive director of Chinese for Affirmative Action.

In this latest episode of the Reach Further Podcast, we honor AAPI Heritage Month by talking about the contributions AAPI have made and the issues AAPI continue to face. Our guest today, Cynthia Choi, is the co-executive director of Chinese for Affirmative Action and co-founder of Stop AAPI Hate, an organization that tracks the number of anti-Asian hate incidents and advocates for systemic policy change to advance racial justice and equity. We talk about why it’s difficult to track anti-Asian hate, how we can support and empower AAPI, and fostering solidarity among minority communities.
