Community Checking provides a low-cost checking product to those who might not otherwise be able to obtain banking services.
Our Checking Accounts Include:
Account Overview
Unlimited check writing without per check charges
An account with no monthly account maintenance fee
This account is available for individuals residing in an FFIEC identified low- to moderate-income tract
ATM Access
No charge at East West Bank ATMs, Allpoint ATMs¹ and MoneyPass ATMs¹. No East West Bank withdrawal fee for the first two non-proprietary ATM withdrawals per statement cycle (3rd party ATM usage fees may be charged to your account at the request of the provider operating the non-proprietary ATM).

1 If the surcharge screen appears during your Allpoint or MoneyPass ATM transaction, press "Yes" to accept the surcharge and proceed with your withdrawal. You will not be assessed a surcharge fee. In the event that an Allpoint or MoneyPass transaction does incur a surcharge fee, the fee amount will be manually refunded to your account by the end of the next calendar month. Please note, closed accounts will not receive a manual fee refund.
