Dominic Ng, East West Bank's Chairman, President, and CEO

Dominic Ng is Chairman, President & CEO of East West Bank. He leads a full-service commercial bank that is focused exclusively on the U.S. and Greater China markets. The bank is in the top 8 of Forbes’ 2019 ranking of “America’s 100 Best Banks” and is ranked among the 25 largest publicly traded banks in the U.S. by market capitalization.

Mr. Ng transformed East West Bank from a small savings and loan association with $600 million in assets in 1991 into a global bank with $45.9 billion in assets today. American Banker recognized Mr. Ng as Banker of the Year in 2017 for successfully executing his vision while maintaining discipline on credit and building East West into one of the nation’s most profitable regional banks.

As a frequent writer and speaker on U.S.-China relations, economics, finance, banking, philanthropy, and other topics, Mr. Ng has addressed business, political, academic, and civic audiences in the U.S. and Greater China, including the Milken Institute, United States Conference of Mayors, Boao Forum for Asia, Los Angeles World Affairs Council, and Asia Society. From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Ng served as Chairman of the Committee of 100, a prominent organization of leading Chinese-Americans in business, government, academia, and the arts.
