In partnership with the LA Bowl, East West Bank had the privilege of volunteering alongside the Boise State and Washington State football teams to give back to our community in a meaningful way. Together with the LA Bowl and Shoes That Fit, we came together to support students who were displaced after wildfires forced the closure of their school earlier this year.
Thanks to this incredible collaboration, we delivered brand-new athletic shoes to more than 450 TK–5th grade students at Altadena Arts Magnet School. While their campus remains closed and is currently deemed inoperable, the school community is hopeful to reopen by next August. In the meantime, this small but impactful gesture was intended to bring comfort, confidence, and a sense of joy and community to the students during a challenging time.
