In partnership with Heal the Bay, our associates recently volunteered alongside friends and family to clean Will Rogers State Beach. It was an eye-opening experience for our volunteers to learn about the impacts of microplastics and trash on our health, local beaches, and neighborhoods.
In just 1.5 hours, our 50+ volunteers collected over 62 pounds of trash and 734 pieces of microplastic! This is one small step toward rehabilitating our local environment, and we are grateful to our associates and our family/friends who played a significant role of “beach healer” over the weekend.
