East West Bank partnered with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in a collaborative effort to help increase access to nutritious food for families across Los Angeles.
Through this partnership, volunteers from East West Bank’s ERM and Compliance teams and the Lakers came together with a shared sense of purpose, working side by side to box, sort, and glean food for distribution throughout the region. This amazing teamwork resulted in the assembly of 2,604 food kits and the distribution of 7,334 pounds of fresh produce, directly supporting households experiencing food insecurity.
Beyond the numbers, this initiative reflects the heart behind our work—neighbors helping neighbors and organizations coming together to make a real difference. East West Bank is proud to stand alongside the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank in strengthening food security and supporting the well-being of families across Los Angeles.
