In partnership with United Way of Greater Los Angeles, and Salvation Army, a group of our Southern California associates recently volunteered to sort donations from the annual food drive, Stamp Out Hunger, the nation’s largest one-day food drive spearheaded by the National Association of Letter Carriers.
Our LA County postal carriers collect the most food in the nation in this national one-day food collection drive to help support our LA County residents where more than 1.5 million pounds of food was collected.
This year, our associates helped sort through 15 pallets of canned food that will be distributed to food pantries county-wide. Thank you to our committed associates along with their friends and family who showed up early on a Saturday morning to help give back to our communities!
