In partnership with San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity, East West Bank volunteers spent their Saturday morning building wall frames for a home in Azusa, California.
The bank served as the foundation sponsor for the 2024 Women Build, SGV Habitat’s biggest annual signature event which brought women and their allies together, uniting them for a common purpose: to help women in need of affordable housing.
Leading our volunteer crew’s building efforts was Robert Lo, EVP, Head of Commercial Real Estate Banking and SGV Habitat for Humanity board member. Over 30 EWB volunteers, armed with hammers and saws, set to work to cut wood and nail together wall frames. East West Bank was joined by future homeowners Daniela, Veronica and Jennifer who expressed their gratitude to volunteers for making affordable housing a reality for them.
