East West Bank was proud to be a Platinum sponsor for longtime partner United Way of Greater Los Angeles at the 16th Annual WalkUnitedLA 5K Run/Walk hosted with the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday May 11, 2024, at SoFi Stadium.
Our team was led by Dominic Ng, Chairman and CEO and Irene Oh, CRO alongside our 28th Annual Workplace Campaign co-chairs, Gary Teo, Kyra Lucchesi, and Steve Chang, to continue the bank’s legacy of uniting together to build stronger communities. Together, over 380 team members laced up their shoes and raised over $50,000 to support this meaningful cause. Highlights from the event included our participants being greeted by the LA Rams 2024 rookie class as they crossed the finish line and participating in an exclusive SoFi tour only available to East West Bank.
WalkUnitedLA welcomed over 7,500 Angelenos from 157 teams and East West Bank ranked 2nd place in overall team fundraising and participation efforts. We are grateful for all our donors and participants who supported to help break cycles of poverty and build communities of prosperity!
