Veterans' Holiday Celebration
PUBLISHED DECEMBER 7, 2014
Early December of 2014, East West Bank showed their appreciation for our Veterans and Active Duty Service Members by volunteering to prepare and set up for the 22nd Annual Veterans’ Holiday Celebration held on December 7, 2014 at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Downtown Los Angeles. There were a total of eleven East West Bank staff volunteers who helped set up and decorated the facility to provide a warm and memorable holiday celebration to those who honorably served and continue to serve our country.
This event started 21 years ago during the holiday season, when a group of men wanted to help bring joy to the lives of Veterans at the WLA Veterans facility. The Veterans’ Holiday Celebration has since grown to serving over 3,500 Veterans and Active Duty Service Members and their families this past year. The Veterans' Holiday Celebration is the nation’s largest all-volunteer event of its kind and takes months of careful planning, culminating in a one-day celebration.
