East West Bank Team Shares Cheer and Financial Knowledge
PUBLISHED NOVEMBER 21, 2017
Our Southern California Consumer Banking Region 6 team, led by Lilian Chik, recently collaborated with nonprofit organization Project Access Resource Centers to share some cheer and financial knowledge to residents of Tara Village Apartments, a low income housing community complex in Cypress, CA.
Members from East West Bank's Talent Development Program provided small group and one-on-one financial consultations to over 25 residents ranging from grade school to adult parents. The workshop provided a special opportunity for residents to ask questions unique to their financial situation and learn information that would better equip them for financial success.
“It was wonderful to see the East West Bank team interact with residents of all ages,” shared Lynn Shim, Resident Services Coordinator for Tara Village Apartments Family Resource Center. “Thank you and your team for being so well prepared! Our residents left with all their questions answered.”
Many thanks to our associates for participating in the event and providing such a valuable service to the community!
