Generally, you are considered a U.S. taxpayer if you are a:
U.S. Citizen
Legal Permanent Resident of the U.S. (Form I-551 “green card” holders); or a
Foreign National (including Visa Holders) that meets the Substantial Presence Test for the
current calendar year.
Substantial Presence Test - Typically, you are obligated to pay U.S. tax if you have
been in the United States for 31 days during the current calendar year and 183 days during the
3-year period that includes the current year and prior 2 years (fractional number of days from each
prior year). Some exceptions do apply.*

A single $2,500 minimum deposit is required within 60 days of account approval.* Upon account funding, a $300 Account Opening Fee will be immediately deducted from your account balance.
Accounts that are NOT funded within 60 days will be closed.
Note: You must maintain a minimum monthly average balance of $2,500 (after deduction of the $300 Account Opening fee) or a minimum combined account balance of $10,000 in the consumer deposit accounts you own with us to avoid a monthly maintenance fee.
*Funding deposits received for an amount that is less than $2,500 are, at the discretion of the Bank, subject to return to the customer.
