Financial Education for Young Adults
The FDIC - Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation developed the Money Smart for Young Adults curriculum to help youth ages 12-20 learn the basics of handling their finances. Money Smart for Young Adults consists of eight instructor-led modules. Each module includes a fully scripted instructor guide, participant guide, PowerPoint slides, and five optional computer-based scenarios that allow students to complete realistic exercises.
We have provided the curriculum for direct download below. The modules below are for self-paced study or instructor-led classes. For individual self-study, simply download the participant guide. For educators, download all the materials including instructor guide and presentation slide.
