Oh what fun! We recently wrapped up the third and final event of our 2022 East West Bank and Lakers Youth Foundation signature partnership series “Lakers Season of Giving” with a holiday party for kids.
Held at the UCLA Training Center, 100 kids from local community partners After-School All Stars and Alliance College-Ready Public Schools were greeted by our East West Bank associates who assisted with different stations that included various carnival games, dancing, karaoke and arts and crafts.
You can feel the excitement in the air as the kids were able to engage with Lakers players such as Thomas Bryant to sing“Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, high-five LeBron James, decorate cookies with Anthony Davis and take photobooth pictures with Russell Westbrook. Lakers players Austin Reaves, Wenyen Gabriel, Patrick Beverly, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Kendrick Nunn, Damien Jones, Tory Brown Jr., Max Christie, Dennis Schroder and the Lakers girls were also in attendance.
East West Bank has partnered with the Los Angeles Lakers to present ‘A Season of Giving’ for 16 years to provide food, assistance and joy to thousands of Los Angeles children, adults, and families throughout the holiday season.
