Ensuring All Students Have Meals During Summer

In partnership with Boys and Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley, our retail associates recently volunteered to distribute meals to students of Alhambra Unified School District. This “Grab N’ Go” program offers both contactless or walkup pickups and provide a week’s work of food to local children and family. In just one hour, our volunteers successfully distributed over 850 meal boxes and milk to program participants. A huge thank you to our volunteers from Alhambra-Valley, Montebello, Monterey Park, and North El Monte branches!
The mission of Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley is to enable all young people, especially those who need it the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. The organization delivers exciting and educational programs to over 6,000 boys and girls each year.
