Spreading Love to Gwinnett County Foster Students
PUBLISHED FEBRUARY 21, 2021
During the month of February, Gwinnett County public schools reached out to parents and sponsors to request donations of different items for a supply kit as part of their Foster Service Project. Gwinnett County is located in the metropolitan Atlanta area, and is the largest school system in Georgia. Their public schools are recognized for a third year in a row in 2020, on Forbes’ list of Best Employers for Women as well as Forbes Top State Employer. The goal for the Foster Service Project is to make sure all students feel supported and loved. The supply kit will be gathered by a fourth-grade team and distributed to students in foster care. On behalf of East West Bank, associate Alisha Fulcher donated 100 units of clear drawstring bags, crayons, and coloring books to support their program’s request. We are glad we can work together and make a difference in the community!
