New Bikes for Foster Youth
PUBLISHED AUGUST 8, 2019
Ride on! The bank recently partnered with the nonprofit organization Together We Rise for Build-a-Bike Day to assemble brand new bicycles for youth in foster care.
The bikes built directly benefit the youth at Futuro Infantil Hispano, a nonprofit foster family agency that has served over 4,500 foster children throughout LA, Inland Empire, and Orange Counties since its inception in 1995.
Many of the children in foster care may never have a bike of their own, but through the Build-a-Bike program, children in foster care now have the experience of learning to ride a bike for the first time while teenagers can gain a sense of independence with their own vehicle for transportation.
The bank is proud to provide foster children with a healthy activity, a means of transport, and lifelong memories!
